
Dennis F. Kizzire SR. was married to the late Nelda Fowler Kizzire. He has two
children:
Frankie Kizzire who is retired from USAF and resides in Amory, MS with his wife Rhonda and two children, Allison and Andrew. Heather Palmer who resides in Birmingham, AL with her husband Jonathan and three children, David, Cain and Sadie Clair.
Brother Kizzire is a native Alabamian. He received Jesus as Saviour as a teenager and became a Free Will Baptist at New Oak Free Will Baptist Church in the Jasper Association of Free Will Baptist in Alabama and served as SS teacher, SS Superintendent and Deacon. Announced the call to preach in January 1972 and was ordained on October 6, 1973. He graduated from Alabama Free Will Baptist Bible Institute where he received an associate degree in Pastoral studies.
He has pastored in Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi. He was moderator of the Vernon Association of FWB in Alabama, Blue Grass Association of FWB in Kentucky and has been moderator of the Northeast Association of FWB.
He served on the Alabama Mission Board for 14 years and was editor of the Alabama state publication "The Digest". He served as Board member of the Trinity FWB Youth Camp in Alabama for many years.
In addition to his pastorate at Beech Springs he is Administrator of Morganwood FWB Camp & Conference Center, and serves on the Executive & Credentials Committee of the Northeast Association of FWB. He has served as Moderator for the Mississippi Association of Free Will Baptists where he is now Director of Communications and serves on the Mississippi Association's Executive Board.
